A little about me

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

2022- Official Master's Degree (MA)

More recently, in 2022, I completed an Official Master's Degree in Management of Artistic and Architectural Heritage, Museums and Art Market in Santiago de Compostela, Spain, complementing my artistic practice with knowledge in Cultural Management and Heritage Conservation.

Degree issued by the University of Santiago de Compostela.

European Supplement to the Master's Degree.

2006- Degree in Fine Arts (BBAA)

Later, I graduated in Fine Arts in Havana, Cuba, a period that enriched my skills and expanded my creative horizons, introducing me to the world of Artistic Heritage Conservation.

Title issued by the Higher Institute of Art of Havana, Cuba.

Equivalence in Spain of the previous university degree.

1995- Vocational Training (FPM)

As a contemporary visual artist, my career has been built on a solid educational foundation and a diverse professional experience. I began my professional training in 1991 for four years, with a focus on printmaking, which allowed me to develop a deep understanding of artistic techniques from an early age.

Title issued by a Cuban institution.

Homologation in Spain of the Title shown above.

Exhibitions and Contributions to Art

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of participating in numerous exhibitions, both individual and collective, and of taking part in national and international competitions, where I have been awarded prizes and mentions.

Latest Competitions.

My experience as a Professor in the subject of "Painting" at the Faculty of Visual Arts of the University of the Arts of Havana and later as Curator of Artistic Heritage in Galicia, has allowed me to influence and be influenced by different cultures, enriching me as a creator. These roles have been complementary to my passion for painting, which I have cultivated for more than two decades, always looking for new media and materials to express my ideas.
